We HIGHLY recommend that you house your new rabbit indoors. Rabbits are prey animals and San Diego County is home to many predator animals such as hawks, owls, coyotes, raccoons, foxes and bob cats, all of which kill small animals left outside (even rabbits kept in a cage or hutch). Wet or hot weather and parasites such as fleas, flies, and mosquitoes also can be deadly to rabbits. You can easily house your rabbit indoors and make him a part of your family. He will live a much longer and healthier life, and you will enjoy him so much more. Learn more about housing your bunny indoors. Indoor Bunny Housing

SUZY is a darling lady who was recently added to our shelter. She came to us a little scared but very quickly adjusted to the new environment and is just a darling. She still gets a little nervous when being pet, but once she's used to you, she'll plop out her limbs and stretch out in relaxed bliss. Probably better to be in a household with older kids or no children. This gentle lady is waiting to find a loving family ...come see her at the shelter. her ID number is A1451219.

CHARLIE is a little white bunny boy. He came to us recently and was very curious but shy of being pet. He still displays signs of shyness, but will come up to the front of his cage to see you when you come into the room. He has opened up a lot since he first came and is more receptive to being pet. He really is a big sweetheart...he would make a cute match with our other little white bunny Maggie! Please come visit and bring his ID number with you. A1433468

DINO was part of a group of fostered baby bunnies and he currently shares a cage with his brother Phil, and they would love to go as a pair. Very curious guy, he will come right up to the front of the cage, but he will also jump to the back of the cage if he hears a sudden noise. He loves to get scratches near his nose. MAGGIE is our 'bitty bunny' She came to us super shy and very tiny. She has remained very bitty in size but she sure has become much more social. She eagerly wants to be pet and loved. Because she is so little and still a bit shy, she would prefer to be in a household with either no kids or older children. Really just a gorgeous loving girl. We are so pleased to see how much she has come out of her shell in the past few months. Bring her ID to the shelter: A1429572,

Jilliana is a wonderful lady bunny. She is a wonder bunny who had 10 baby bunnies back in Sept. Since then she has been spayed and she and many of her babies are at the shelter. She is so gentle and loving...her curious face is such a joy. She loves tossing her toy balls around and likes to be active and have attention. Preferably she would like to be in a home with no little kids. She is living with her son Rocky and they would like to be adopted together. They are so much fun to watch together, you will fall in love! Come meet them...her ID number is A1429570

Rocky is a great bunny boy. He was a part of the hand fostered baby bunnies we are having come back to the shelter ready to be adopted. His gigantic ears are spectacular. He shares a cage with his mother Jilliana and they are just such a darling pair together. He is a little more brave than she is and he will console her when she's scared. They really work well together and are a joy to watch tossing their toys around. Please consider taking them both :) A1433457

Jasper couldn't be a cuter bunny! He's been hanging out in the reception area of the shelter and has been entertaining many visitors. He really is eager to be pet and loved and would love to find a forever home. This picture makes him look black & white, but his spots are really a beautiful grey. He's fairly small. Come meet this sweetie! A1450194
