Handsome Blonde & White 7-year-old Domestic Shorthair male, about 12 pounds. Handsome has a heart of gold! He was rescued out of an alley 5 years ago after his "owners" had moved away and abandoned him. He has been tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and neutered. Word has it that he was quite the lover boy in the neighborhood before rescued. He's still a lover, but now not with the other cats in the foster home, but with the people. He's a great guy for a single-cat, adult home.

BiBi is a female 4-year-old domestic shorthair. BiBi was rescued from an alley in Imperial Beach. She had been living off of whatever she could find or beg from a kind neighbor. Her coat is a glossy, almost blue grey. She looks as though she could have some Russian Blue in her but this cannot be verified. BiBi is an affectionate, alert and intelligent feline. A marvelous home companion for someone who wants to share quality time with her. She gets along well with other cats, minds her own business and expects them to do the same. If there's any discontent , either human or animal, she makes herself scarce and will not come out until tranquility returns. She is not tolerant of little fingers that want to push, pull, or poke her. An adult home is recommended.

Phil Black & Whte Tuxedo boy. Approx. 4 years old & 7 lbs.
I took Phil in about 1 1/2 years ago when a friend rescued him off the street. He had been abandoned and was eating wherever he could find food. My friend fed him and when he finally could trust her, he let himself be taken into her home and then to mine. Phil has had a hard time trusting people. Perhaps he has been passed off too many times from home to home. This little guy needs someone who will be patient and unconditional with love. He, too, requires a quiet home life free of stress and discord.

Sparkle Brown, black & orange tortie female. Approximately 2 years old and 8 lbs. Rescued from the Chula Vista Shelter where she was in danger of being euthanized after being there so long. Has a shy personality, but is very affectionate and loving when comfortable. She loves being petted. This lovely girl needs a quiet, adult home.

Yuki 4-year-old white male, about 9 lbs. Yuki had been living in an alley. Alone and abandoned, his white fur had become a dingy white. To get something to eat, he happened into one of the traps set by a rescuer. True of cats that have a significant amount of white, Yuki whould never be an outdoor cat. He needs an older adult that has time to give him love and attention.

Robbie Five-year-old black & white tuxedo male. Robbie was relinquished by his caretaker who felt he was too aggressive. Robbie is anything but aggressive. He just needs understanding and patience. He does give tiny love-bite kisses, but not actual bites. He loves affection and is affectionate in return. It takes him awhile, but he will bond strongly with the person who really shows him love and patience. He gets on well with other cats.

Francesca ("Frankie") Female Chocolate Pointe Siamese. 5 years old, 9 lbs. Francesca's caretaker became homeless. Frankie has a sweet, though typical, Siamese personality, i.e., she believes she's queen. While thoroughly non-aggressive, she prefers to be the only cat. She is loving and sometimes vocal in her opinions. She needs someone who will dote on her and consider her regal position in life.

Skipper 5-year-old male tabby, about 9 lbs. Skipper previously lived on the street. When caught, he was shy and distrusting of people. As time passed, he has become an absolute love. He calls out for loving and petting and reaches out as you pass by him. He loves to be snuggled, but isn't crazy about being held for more than a few minutes. But you can snuggle him all day wherever he happens to be sitting!

Biskit Seven-year-old orange & white tabby male. Has medium-length long hair. Biskit and his long-time companion were relinquished by relatives of his caretaker who had passed away. Sadly, his companion also passed away in 2003 from cancer. Biskit has a sweet disposition and gentle nature and his innocent eyes hide his slightly mischievous nature. He is not destructive nor unruly and doesn't pick fights, but if you hear two cats having a low growling conversation, he will look up at you with those big innocent eyes as if to say, "Who, me? I'm not doing anything, mom. He started it." Biskit is a love who needs lots of love. He's sensitive and a bit shy in the beginning, but bonds quickly if you are patient with him.

Blondie 2-year-old buff & white small female. When I first saw Blondie, she was about 4-5 months old, mewing plaintively from across the alley. Every night I went out and left food for her. After a few weeks, she let me approach her to pet her. That's when I saw a nickle-size wound between her shoulder blades. Within the next month or so, I finally was able to trap her and get her treated for the wound which had increased to the size of a quarter. During her recuperation, she was able to rub her little body against the cag and reopen the stitches. The second time, the vet put a little red sweater on her to cover the stitches and she figured out how to get her little paw out of the armhole and remove some of the sutures. The third set of sutures were covered with a covering she couldn't remove, but not for lack of trying. Over time, she has become a sweeter, more vocal kitty who is not shy about asking for affection. As with many abandoned kitties, she also will need a patient, quiet loving home life with an adult. She gets on well with other kitties and defers to them. She is an absolute love.

Smokey Girl is solid gray and looks tremendously like a Russian Blue except that her face is more slender than a Russian. She has that rich dark almost blue gray fur. And she has the most genteel manner. She won't do well in a noisy environment. And she's easily intimidated by other animals and people. I'm sure she was abandoned. She's a bit over 1 year.
Misha is a black and white tabby with a black mask that makes her look like Batman. And she is the most adorable little creature. She hasn't been around cats much but she thought she was a chihuahua as those were her two live-in companions. The people who relinquished Misha to me hoped that I will find a mature adult home that doesn't have children. She's so affectionate but the people are not home enough to give her the attention she needs. She'll make a great companion to an adult who is home most of the time and can fawn over her.
