Other Rescued Rabbits
Available for Adoption in San Diego
It is HIGHLY recommended that you house your new rabbit indoors. Rabbits are prey animals and San Diego County is home to many predator animals such as hawks, owls, coyotes, raccoons, foxes and bob cats, all of which kill small animals left outside (even rabbits kept in a cage or hutch). Wet or hot weather and parasites such as fleas, flies, and mosquitoes also can be deadly to rabbits. You can easily house your rabbit indoors and make him a part of your family. He will live a much longer and healthier life, and you will enjoy him so much more. Learn more about housing your bunny indoors. Indoor Bunny Housing

Please note: Including a rescue group or independent rescue volunteer in this site does not imply that CRM or any other group on this website endorses or is even familiar with the operating policies of the rescue groups involved. We intend only to make specialized resources known throughout the rescue world.
Rabbits shown below have been rescued, independently, by individuals who have provided the rabbits with a safe haven, proper care, spay/neuter and medical attention. Though they cannot keep the bunnies, these individuals have taken every step to ensure they have gotten the proper care and now they are seeking new, loving homes for the rabbits they have rescued. To learn more about any of these bunnies, use the contact information provided in each listing. An adoption interview and fee will be required.

Lulu is a darling little girl, and very cute. She is 4 months old and 4 lbs. She is a little lop and she loves her ears and neck rubbed. Lulu is friendly and loves to jump on the couch and sit in your lap and sometimes she will even give you a kiss. She is still a little shy and getting used to the world and is looking for a home. She will give you hours of laughter every day. Lulu is spayed, litter box trained and a great hay-eater; important for good health! Lulu loves other animals so would be a great companion to another bunny if you have one or is fine on her own. Cilantro is her favorite treat.

Sydney is a large spayed female with a luxurious tan fur coat. She was once very cage protective but has grown accustomed to the normal routine of feeding and cleaning and now seldom pounces. She is very intelligent and loves a good game of "you can't catch me" whenever it's time to go to bed. However, she is also easy to be picked up if she's had a nice long play session. Sydney would be better off in an adult home; she is very good with her litter box and loves her chew toys. Adoption application, fee, and home inspection are required. A pen or large cage is required and used supplies may be available for a small fee. Please contact debraskibun@yahoo.com for additional information.

Berta (white New Zealand) and Bubbles are very friendly and playful bonded pair. They are very curious and climb all over me looking for treats, when I sit by them. They also do great with the litter box keeping their area pretty clean. Bubbles and Berta come from a house with dogs and cats. I have a cat and they don't seem to care about each other. Berta is a little more shy then Bubbles, but they are both very welcoming. Contact Magda at (760)630-9987

Mitten is a darling Himalayan mix bunny. She came from a neglectful home and is a bit timid, but once she's comfortable she's a happy girl and watching her dance is a delight. Mitten is about two years old, spayed, and using a litter box. She had a companion in the past and would love to find a new bunny love -- perhaps your neutered bunny boy is looking for a partner? Mitten is looking for an indoor home (supervised outdoor play time is welcome however). She doesn't seem to dig on carpet, is okay with indoor kitties, and would relish a home that is experienced with bunnies and a bit quieter (no children). If you are interested in meeting Mitten, please email debraskibun@yahoo.com Feel free to ask any questions in your email as well and please let me know why you think Mitten would make a good addition to your home. She looks forward to meeting her "Forever Family". An adoption application, fee, and a home inspection are required. Mitten's supplies may be available for a small fee.
