Unless otherwise specified, email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information on any of the Los Angeles rabbits.

URGENT

Director's Choice rabbits: 15 New Zealand rabbits were turned into a local shelter right before Christmas. These rabbits have already been spayed and neutered and are ready to find forever homes. Used for a commercial shoot, the director took them home and then had his housekeeper drop them off (not neutered, of course). Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Squirt & Clover: Squirt loves people; Clover doesn't, but she loves Squirt. They are well-behaved house bunnies with impeccable litter-box habits. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Molly & Pip are an adorable pair of small rabbits. Molly weighs about 4 lbs and Pip weighs less than 3! She loves to be petted; he's a feisty little boy. They have discussions once in awhile but they love each other very much and they want to be adopted together. If you love little bunnies, they may be the ones for you. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Pocahontas & Cashew: She's a medium-large English Spot cross; he's a handsome, medium-sized grey and tan
boy. She has an independent streak; he's needy and affectionate (he bonded to her even before he was neutered). Cashew's only about three months old and may still grow a bit. Pocahontas has already stopped growing and is probably about 10-12 months old. They are a loving pair and would like to be adopted together. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Princess & Snowball: A pair of small, cute Dwarf cross sister-bunnies. Princess and Snowball love each other and want to stay together. They're sweet, outgoing and already know how to be good house bunnies. They were 3-4 months when this picture was snapped but are now slightly larger young adults and already spayed. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Alex & Alexis love each other and must be adopted together. They are medium-sized, adult Mini Lop bunnies and well-behaved house bunnies. We think they are about 5 years old. They are healthy and happy bunnies. But they would be happier if they could live free in your home instead of in a foster bunny pen. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Zena & Blaze two of the siblings pictured above were born on December 16, 2003. Beautiful, elegant rabbits with long ears, they're friendly, playful, and good with their box! Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Brother & Sissy Bun must find a home soon! Fastidious, beautiful, medium-small white bunnies are shy due to growning-up with dogs barking. They will none-the-less make fantastic house rabbits as they are non-destructive, quiet, adore each other, and are perfect with their litterbox! All they want is to flit elusively about from bunny-proofed room to bunny-proofed room. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Robert & Audrey are two handsome spotted rabbits; Robert is a Lop and Audrey an up-eared girl. They are neutered and wonderful house rabbits; they use their litterbox religiously. Still a bit shy, they will come around with some TLC. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Nutbrown & Harmony are brother and sister bunnies bonded to each other. They must be adopted as a pair. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.

Harmony: Poor Harmony she had to have her eye removed but she's recovered and doing just fine. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.

Nutbrown (male): Nutbrown's nearly blind from cataracts but he loves his sister Harmony so much!
Walter & Semaphora: This handsome Mini Lop guy and his big beautiful wife Semaphora (a unicorn Lop, of course!) are looking for a home together. Semaphora's about 5-6 years old and 7.5 lbs (she needs to lose weight) and Hooper is about 3-4, a younger man, about 5.5 lbs. They are great house rabbits and affectionate, too. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Snowbird and Chickadee: are two beautiful bunnies that were relinquished together. Snowbird in particular's a very sociable guy and ready to be friends with people as well as his wife Chickadee. Both are neutered and trained to use a litter box and ready to go home with you! Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.

Beckett & Olga: Beckett is a Harlequin rabbit with a petite, Little White Bunny wife in Olga. They make a handsome pair and are protective of and loving with one another. Must be adopted together to be happy bunnies. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Peanut and Pokey are two wonderful, litter-box trained house rabbits who have been together for a year. Peanut the Lop was rescued from a neglectful situation where she was purchased at a pet store and then kept in a tiny cage. Once we got her spayed we introduced her to Pokey, a gorgeous, friendly charcoal-colored bunny who was found hopping around a beach neighborhood. Peanut loves her tall, dark, and handsome hubby and they are inseparable. He loves to groom her and seems to whisper sweet nothings in her ear almost daily ;) Although most bunnies are not low-maintenance pets, these two are pretty self-sufficient and so meticulous that they require minimal cleaning and tidying of their area. They have their own room in foster care and it is our hope that their future adopters will provide them with at least as good a home. Please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com for more information.
Black Bunny and Phil: These two were introduced and fell in love right away. They groom each other and love each other very much and cannot be separated. Look how BB puts her "hand" on her dear hubby, Phil! Please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com if you can help.
Toffee & Chocolate: this beautiful pair of girls would love to be adopted together to live in a safe home. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net for more information.
Peri & Winkle: these three-year old brothers want a home together. They were adopted but they have to come back because their human has health issues and cannot take care of them much longer. Please adopt these handsome Himalayan cross boys. They are perfect house bunnies, loving toward people and inseparable. For more information, please e-mail losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net.
Shane & Sia: darling white sister-bunnies who get along very well and want to be adopted together. They are about four months old, already spayed and already know to use their box! What lovely girls. For more information, please e-mail losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net.
Teddy & Bear: Dwarf cross bunnies, about 4 lbs and almost done growing at six months of age. Teddy is the Dutch girl, Bear her English cross husbun. Quite friendly rabbits, and simply adorable together. For more information, please e-mail losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net.
In 2003 we rounded up 40 scared, abandoned bunnies at a private water company where hawks and feral cats were eating them, and they were in danger of being poisoned or otherwise killed by humans. The rabbits were spayed/ neutered and now need placement in foster or (preferably) permanent homes. Most are quite shy and don't trust people, but all are a joy to watch and eat well. They are medium-small bunnies, very handsome, mostly black or Russian grey with little white noses or paw tips; some are part Lop and have that adorable one-ear-up, one-ear-down look.

The hope is to adopt these rabbits in groups of 3 or more (2 is the minimum) to indoor homes, but we are also open to keeping them in a very large, predator-proof enclosures in a low-predator, cool area (no canyons or desert locations), since many of them grew up outdoors. We have a large bunny hutch (6.5' x 16.5') that could be attached to a play area. Email losangelesrabbits@earthlink.net if you can provide a sanctuary for these beautiful black bunnies or if you don't mind having a shy bun in your home. Please tell your neighbors and friends: abandonment is cruel and illegal in the state of California! Thank you on behalf of the abandoned bunnies.
