Please contact jmclaug@prodigy.net for more information about the rabbits on this page (unless otherwise noted).

It is HIGHLY recommended that you house your new rabbit indoors. Rabbits are prey animals and San Diego County is home to many predator animals such as hawks, owls, coyotes, raccoons, foxes and bob cats, all of which kill small animals left outside (even rabbits kept in a cage or hutch). Wet or hot weather and parasites such as fleas, flies, and mosquitoes also can be deadly to rabbits. You can easily house your rabbit indoors and make him a part of your family. He will live a much longer and healthier life, and you will enjoy him so much more. Learn more about housing your bunny indoors at Indoor Bunny Housing.

Escondido Humane Society is participating in a partnership with the PETCO Foundation to place shelters rabbits for adoption, in stores. Visit EHS bunnies at PETCO stores in Escondido (Valley Parkway & I-15), Carmel Mountain Ranch (Carmel Mtn Rd & Rancho Carmel Drive), and Poway (Poway & Community Roads).

She's a Silver Marten Dwarf, and her pretty coat is almost blue in color.  Scarlett has a bit of attitude ("dwarfitude") and wears the pants in the family. However, she was recently spayed so her personality will sweeten up some. Why not adopt this fun pair and have double the joy? Rhett's ID no. is 41949, and Scarlett’s is 41950.

Rhett and Scarlett were adopted 6/6/2010!
