It's that time of year again! Time to plan for a day of bunny fun at San Diego House Rabbit Society's BUNNYFEST 2007!
As in the past, San Diego HRS and fellow Southern California bunny lovers will get together for a day of fun, education, great shopping, exciting bidding on auction items, and the sharing of favorite bunny stories with others who appreciate our special rabbit friends. Here are a few of the fun things to do at Bunnyfest 2007:
- Cheer on the bunnies at the Rabbit Agility Demonstration
- Enter your photos in the fun Bunny Photo Contest
- Bid on exciting bunny-theme items at the Fundraising Auction
- Win fun prizes in the Bunnyfest Raffle
- Get smooched by a rabbit at the Bunny Kissing Booth
- Find fun for the little ones at the Kids Korner children’s area
- Get rabbit medical questions answered at the Ask-A-Vet booth
- Enjoy cool refreshments at the Cottontail Café
- Shop for great crafts, supplies, toys, and more!

Photo Contest
It’s time to start sending in those photo entries for the Bunnyfest Photo Contest!
This year’s categories will be:
• Bunny’s Best Friend (bunny with friend of another species)
• Cutest Couple (pair of bunnies)
• Funny Face
• Pigging Out
• Biggest Ham
• Most Unique Markings
There will be one winner in each category, with winners being given a prize at Bunnyfest.
How to Submit Your Photo: Photos should be submitted to Alison, our Photo Contest Coordinator. You may submit printed photos or digital photo files. If you submit digital photos, they should be high resolution, approx 200-300 dpi. The deadline for receiving photo entries is Sept. 12, 2007. Email digital photos to sdhrs@alisongiese.com . For questions or to get the address to mail your prints to, please contact Alison at sdhrs@alisongiese.com or 760-753-6652. Please indicate for which category your photo is being submitted and the name(s) of the subject(s) in the photo. Also, be sure to include your name, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you with questions or to let you know if you’ve won a category. If you want your print(s) returned, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Silent Auction
At BUNNYFEST, you will be able to bid on wonderful items at our Silent Auction. Funds from the auction support our rescue, adoption, and education work throughout the year, and make a huge impact on our ability to save rabbit lives and find them loving new homes.
